# BidHub - Why are we Needed?

### Existing Problems:

### Buyers

**Profiting from mints hard** - As buyers we struggle to get into the best projects; facing bots and insiders that sweep collections and destroy our chances to make a profit. We fail to get in early; being early is where value lies. **BidHub allows anyone to get in on the ground floor.**

**Web3 buying is currently dull** - We all want to make a bag, but it's better when we get a thrill whilst we do it. One click minting is boring, raffles are luck based. [BidHub](/bidhub/bidhub-the-platform.md) removes luck from a mint, and whilst you are bidding you will have the thrill of a live auction. \
\
Live metrics; active bids, outbid bids all visible on platform and on-chain. A fun degen experience, that offers everyone the chance to be successful.

### Sellers

**Determining true value is hard** - As creators and sellers we need to accurately price the sale of assets to maximize our potential. Failure to do so results in not selling out or leaving profit on the table. By leaving profit on the table we present risk. By maximizing initial profits we can gain additional runway or a war chest to develop new features, or reward our community. By Maximizing profits we benefit holders as we can offer them more, which in turn builds the value of the project/ company.\
\
**New fun ways to sell on-chain -** BidHub is versatile, It is a bulk sales platform that collects winning wallets and refunds unsuccessful bidders. This means it can be configured to put an new spin on Solana events. It can be used to sell via a range of fun auctions where:

* Successful bidders receive NFTs; either new mint or existing collections
* Successful bidders are entered into a raffle to win prizes
* Successful bidders win a prize depending on a specific outcome (ie, will FP of 'X' collection be above 5 SOL on 'X' date).
* Successful bidders win depening on a sport event outcome.
